Conventional Shots in Indie Pop

In the genre of Indie Pop, the videos all appear very different in looks and style but there are always conventional shots used in the videos that make them similar within that genre. For example in most indie pop music videos they use establishing shots to show the location of the video. These shots can also be used to display a message in a clearer way to the audience, or to introduce the artist. These shots tend to be quite artistic so that they are visually pleasing to the audience.
