The band Wet is an American Indie Pop group from Brooklyn, New York. The bands members are Kelly Zutrau, Joe Valle and Marty Sulkow.
They met in New York through mutual friends while attending New York University.
in 2007 Sulkow and Zutrau formed a band called Beauty Feast, it grew to seven members but eventually dissolved.
Zutrau went on to the Rhode Island school of design but continued to write music. Later on in 2012 the group moved in together and began making music together. This led to them doing many small gigs around Brooklyn and starting to post music online, which gained them attention in 2013.
They then got signed to Neon Gold and released their first self entitled EP later that year.
They then got passed onto Columbia Records and began to work on their debut album.
Music Videos:
These videos are also good examples of an indie pop video, shows a slight narrative but focuses mainly on the artist. The colours are quite dull and the settings show a suburban village, a forest and the sea, all settings that we also want to include in our music video. The second video uses a lot of editing effects, such as overlaying two different videos. It does not have a clear narrative but I like how it is more of an art than it is a story.
